Greetings! It’s time for the women-only rides to start again this year. We have a few updates/changes:

What does a leader do? Welcome new riders, explain group ride etiquette and give pointers, pick route (15-25 miles), keep group together.
WOMEN-ONLY GROUP RIDES
We are doing some slight re-branding of the weekly women-only rides this year:
MARCH – AUGUST: Road rides take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings starting with daylight savings in the spring. All rides begin at 5:45pm and leave from Geoff’s Bike and Ski (816 S. Gilbert St, Iowa City).
What to expect:
DevelopMental Mondays: Start your week off right with a medium-paced, beginner-friendly, or recovery-based ride that provides an exclusive women-only environment. These rides are designed to improve your confidence riding in a group setting, get you fitter, make you faster, and get you race ready! Rides typically have a leader that will choose the route and be able to give pointers along the way.
Race-Pace Wednesdays: These rides are quick-paced, race-tactic focused, and occasionally have guest speakers to share their sage-like wisdom regarding racing and riding strategy. These rides are FAST and FUN and will help take your riding and/or racing to the next level! The endorphin rush will be guaranteed to leave you smiling!

Its that time of year again. Kit order season. Orders due Dec. 9th (2014 ICCC kit order form).
There are a couple of changes for the 2014 kits, most notably, much of the white accents are changing to black. Also, the shorts are losing the side fade, along with the white to black change. Don’t worry about the lack of sponsor logos either, these are just quick ‘get-the-idea’ versions.
Sizing kit available at Geoff’s Bike and Ski until the end of this month (November).
