Monika’s Summer Time Trial Series #5 Tuesday August 23!

Please join me for the final race in the series of summer time trials in held in Lone Tree. Registration begins at 5:30 in Dougherty Park. This fun grass roots race is only 10.00 (with a USAC license) Even if you don’t have a current racing license, you can still race with a “one-day” licence for an additional 10.00. Chamois Time #5 is Coming!

The final installment of our Chamois Time Race Series is tomorrow, Wednesday Aug. 10th! The race is a gravel road race just southeast of Iowa City, off of American Legion Rd.

Location: Iowa City, IA (see map below)
Course: Map my ride or see map below. This course is short, but challenging.
Distance: 13 miles (2 laps) except Juniors who will do 1 lap, 6.5 miles.
Parking and registration: Scott Church Park (5409 American Legion Rd SE, Iowa City), intersection of American Legion/Hwy 6. Registration opens at 5:30 pm, ends at 6:15pm.

The fourth installment of the Chamois Time race series has been cancelled due to wet trail conditions. We will try to re-schedule for next day Wednesday, July 20th, updates will be posted here and on the race page.

Corridor Craft Ride – Saturday, July 16th

Fleck Sales and JCTF are proud to announce, the first annual Corridor Craft Ride, a fun, scenic bicycle ride over the Coralville Reservoir on July 16th, 2011. There will be plenty of fun raffle prizes and gifts all day long, plus great specials on all craft beers at all of the participating bars on the route. Come on out and support the trails, we’d love to see you there!

Ride Route:

-Hideaway — meet at 11:30, ride starts at noon
-Hilltop — 12:30-1:15
-”Water Station” @Newport Rd & Sugar Bottom Rd
-Club 76 — 2-2:45
-Sugar Bottom Bikes — “Water Stop” & BBQ
-Roadies — 3:30-4:15
-Eggy’s on 965 — 4:45-5:30
-Old Chicago — 6-6:45
-Hideaway — 7:30-???
