The Women of Iowa City Cycling Club are proud to present the Chamois Time Race Series. We have a nice variety of race formats to give both beginners and experienced racers a taste of everything: road, mountain bike, & gravel. All races are open to everyone (men, women, juniors).

Chamois Time Race #1: April 18, 2012
Race Format: Road Race
Course: same course as the Iowa City Road Race.

*NO BATHROOMS OR WATER AVAILABLE AT VENUE. We will not have permission/access to the church facilities. Please plan accordingly.
Registration: Opens at 5:30pm and closes at 6:15pm. Races start at 6:30pm. Men’s A will go first, followed by Men’s B, Women’s A, Women’s B, & Juniors, with 2 minute gap between each category. Juniors will go with Women’s B.

***Please carpool or ride to the event, if possible. Parking will be on the street and limited.

Chamois Time Race #3: June 27, 2012
Location: Sugar Bottom Mountain Bike Trail System, North Liberty, IA
Description: This will be a mountain bike time trial format with riders starting every 30 seconds, first rider starting at 6:30pm. Race course TBD, based on trail conditions.
Registration: Opens at 5:30 pm, closes at 6:15pm, held at the shelter area on the access road. Start order will be determined by order of registration within each category and we will still send off Mens A first, followed by Mens B, Womens A, Womens B, & Juniors.
**Please arrive before 6:15 to register. The gate will be locked at 6:15 to close the road off for racers and then re-opened after the course is clear. Start times will be in the order of registration, so if you want a certain spot please come early**
**Races will not be held if Sugar Bottom mountain bike trails are closed. Check ICORR website for trail closure information. If trails are closed we will postpone to a later date**
*Bathrooms are available in the beach parking lot on the west side of the trail system.

Registration: Opens at 5:30pm and closes 15 minutes prior to each race. Races start at 6:30pm. Men’s A will go first, followed by Men’s B, Women’s A, Women’s B, & Juniors, with 2 minute gap between each category. Juniors will go with Women’s B.

Chamois Time Race #5: August 29, 2012
Location: Iowa City, IA (see map below)
Course: Map my ride or see map below. This course is short, but challenging.
Distance: 13 miles (2 laps) except Juniors who will do 1 lap, 6.5 miles.
Parking and registration: Scott Church Park (5409 American Legion Rd SE, Iowa City), intersection of American Legion/Hwy 6. Registration opens at 5:30 pm, ends at 6:15pm.
*There is a pit toilet at Scott Church Park that will be open for use.
